What if I cannot afford the Training?
This can often be said to us during questions from potential clients as to the cost and should they really invest in our type of training delivery.
We also have to understand that added costs to any business can put pressure on them, inclusive of wasted working hours, productivity and if the training is realistic and viable for their specific industry. We all know how easy it is to run down the competition, so that’s not my angle on this blog, but to think of alternative ideas and new methods of delivery to help smaller organisations that don’t have the money or time to pay for some of the high level training that is in the current market.
Firstly we cannot hide the fact that everything has a cost and that it is even more essential these days that you get value for money, however there is also the risk at times of some people in positions of authority within their given orgnisations that will tend to lean more towards cost over quality, but from my experience they are usually the ones that unfortunately learn the hard way that using a short cut to fix a issue is sometimes not the best method to adopt.
Lets say you have 4 – 5 staff and they all work shifts, and after you carrying out your risk assessment ascertain that their risks from workplace violence are very small?
You cannot join another larger company because of their dates don’t match yours, you cant afford to run a single course as they all do shifts and finally your budget does not even incorporate this type of training. Finally you have been audited and low and behold you have to train your staff or you will encounter funding issues and further inspections………
