Quell Training

Lone Working Course for Co-Ownership Housing

Below is from one of our new clients, and we are pleased to show you how well our training is being received.

Excellent course!  Highly recommended! Organisations required to provide lone working and personal safety staff training should consider this course.

The commitment from Quell to ensure they delivered a fully informed, up to date, relevant course specific to the individual needs of this organisation was evident right from the start.

Our trainer on the day was totally engaging, completely passionate about the subject area and was able to make the entire event lively, participative, serious and fun.  Our staff left feeling enthused, knowledgeable and wanting to commit to adherence to our policies.

My sincere gratitude to every member of the team at Quell.

Clúid Housing Association on Dealing with Challenging Behaviour

We recently rolled out Quells Dealing with Challenging Behaviour (inc. Personal Safety) training to all our front line staff.

We found Quell to be very professional, their preparatory work was excellent and the training delivery and content that was provided was outstanding.  The feedback we received from staff was exceptionally positive and all staff left feeling they benefited from the day and could easily put the recommendations into practice.

Does Conflict affect the way we live… …Of Course it does!

Does Conflict affect the way we live… …Of Course it does!

A significant number of people will say that nothing triggers them and that they have the ‘patience of a Saint’! Well in fact admitting that small things set of a trigger in us that causes us to verbally or physically react to something is either personally embarrassing to admit to, or creates a feeling of ‘letting your guard down’ as reacting to something is always an emotional action. Belfast Central Mission Testimonial on Quell

Belfast Central Mission provides a wide range of Social Care Services to a range of service users and age groups. Lone working is a feature in some of our projects and we take the safety of our staff seriously. It is important to keep it under continuous review and to insure our managers are putting in place the necessary mechanisms which support a safe working environment.

The training provided by Quell was designed specifically for our managers based on BCM’s Policies and Procedures. Feedback has been excellent. It has further developed our Managers’ understanding of their responsibilities and helped them to identify gaps / areas which need to be addressed.

We look forward to working further with Hilary Quigley and Will Holland.

Dublin City Council Testimonial

Quell recently provided ‘Managing challenging behaviour/ lone working’ training for experienced homeless services’ workers from Dublin City Council and Housing First.

The training was tailored for the level of experience of staff and we received very positive feedback from all who attended.

The suggestions and follow-up provided to management after the training was particularly useful.

Bullying or Harassment Training, which one should we choose?

Bullying or Harassment Training, which one should we choose?

The above question is something I get asked on a regular basis by new clients and it is always a topical subject as you might imagine.

Why?

Well when we say the word “Bullying” it sometimes creates the image of School and the playground and it is always a concern of parents for their children if they are experiencing such incidents. Continue reading “Bullying or Harassment Training, which one should we choose?”
